Worse comes to worse, buy a Greyhound bus ticket to some place warm and with generous social programs, like San Diego or San Francisco maybe. You should probably do some research on that, just in case.

Locally, churches are usually a good place to start as they'll often have some kind of temporary housing for homeless people and be able to connect you to other resources. Might also want to google your state/county and social services or something like that to see for yourself.
