It's such a bland, broad phrase. You can blame literally everything on "society" but you're not addressing any specific section. "The effect on drugs/crime/sex/whatever in society today" headass.

I did this and I got rejected. I originally set out thinking "well, rejection won't hurt, so there's no reason not to try, right?". But it fucking hurt to get to know girls who literally weigh more than me and get turned down. I'm not pursuing girls anymore, it only leads to failure for me.
