It really is, but it can never quite capture the same feeling. Old r9k was a fountain of original content, truly hilarious greentext stories, genuinely decent tripfags. There was a lot less cynicism when it came to making content and sharing it.

Modern r9k feels like some dying rust belt industrial town where all the cool kids have left to much better places and the only ones left are the old, bitter losers who can't make it anywhere else in the world.

Sorry. I didn't come to 4chan until /mlp/ was invented. Before that it was all /b/ faggotry, but I'd rather have that than what 4chan is now.
