Just moved back in with my parents at 31 years old.

>Move out at 26 because loser and people telling me I need to move out in order to get laid, get a gf etc
>Moved out and bought a bunch of shit on credit because can't have empty apartment
>Still no GF
>Travel overseas to America and Europe
>Over-spent and needed to use credit to keep holiday running
>Didn't get laid
>Eventually end up reverting back to my old-self and stay in my apartment playing video games and browsing the internet
>Except now I have rent, bills and all that other stuff
>Also have racked up $40,000 debt (Australian dollars)
>Debt repayments not enough to put a dint in the debt
>Forced to stop renting and move back in with parents
>Now I'm here making this post

So I did all the typical normie stuff and it didn't change anything, and now I'm in tons of debt and more miserable than I was before AND I'm still a virgin.

Some of us are not meant to "make it"

Get a job you nigger

So wait, you put two years of life experiences into credit?

I have a full-time job, and I work on my freelance shit on the side when I have the time.

It's not enough for living when you're a single person. Standard of living is based on two incomes in Australia, not one. Living on my own was raping me financially.

>get life insurance on parents
>kill them both, they deserve anyway for forcing me into this world and screwing it up
>pay off debts
>they're no longer around the house (it's yours now) and you can live off their insurance payouts for the rest of your life
ez pz
>>
Maybe it has to do with personality. If you spent all that money travelling why not renting an escort? Cheaper than a girlfriend in the long run.
>>
>>36576000
>declare bankruptcy

Why do all NEETs on here say this as if it's some free get out of debt free card?

You do realise you lose all control of the money you do have, and all the money you earn....if you go bankrupt, for at least a few years.

>>36575823
Don't you even tried when you were overseas to get laid. If you met other tourists, I guarantee you would of got laid. People are more daring when they're abroad and would sleep with anyone of they show them any attention in a different country.

And is your debt student debt or just spending debt. If you literally spent 40k and have no investments(student loan being investment) to show for it your an idiot and that has nothing to do with being a robot. Declare bankruptcy in like 5 years and good luck being trusted for a loan ever again. Credit cards, future mortgage, car loan, etc. Literally anything, you'll be turned down.

>Moved out and bought a bunch of shit on credit because can't have empty apartment

Couldn't you have just gotten most of that shit for free/cheap off of Craigslist or something? That's what I did when I moved out.
>>
>>36576063
it's not an issue when you have no money and earn no money
>>
>>36576091
I do earn money, it's just that it was all going to rent, bills and debt repayments.

Now that I live with parents I'm going to be able to repay the debt within a year or two since I don't have to worry about rent or bills anymore.
>>
If you wanted to get laid on holiday should have went to Thailand. Ez flight from kangarooland, and you can live like a king and bang a different chick every night with little cost
>>
>>36575823
You basically did all that shit without changing yourself first . Be, Do, then HAVE. apply that rule to your life and you will see a REAL change
>>
>credit
I know that feel
made that exact same mistake, although I'm only 4k deep and about to climb out, but only because my partner was able to back me for the better part of half a year.

>>36576063
as opposed to how much control he would otherwise have over his money and earnings right now?
I actually worked for a predatory lending company for a year. When you're tied up in this kind of debt, you literally do not have money. If you fight hard to stay afloat, you do not retain control of your money for the next few years. You are basically fighting to afford payments. Bankruptcy, and the sacrifices it entails, will not represent a significant downgrade (if at all).

>>36576126
Your gonna pay 40 thousand dollars back in one year? Okay buddy. Unless you spend nothing on yourself and leech off your parents I guess.

What's your job, how much it pay? And is this debt student debt?

>40k in debt

holy fucking shit anon. If someone lived where I lived (Mississippi) told me that story, I would reply telling them that they are a retard of the highest possible degree. Then again, cost of living here is low, and I have never lived in a third world country like Strayastan, so I'm going to reserve judgment on you. You poor poor bastard. If I were you I would just go live in the outback. Mad Max it up.

>I do earn money,
well stop
>>
>>36576221
My rent was $1600/month, not including gas/electricity/water/internet. So I'm saving about $2500 per month now which can go directly to my debt. That's $30,000 right there within 12 months.

Parents aren't making me buy food or anything, so that will also help and add to it.

The debt is a combination of
>buying stuff to fill apartment for initial move out
>some unexpected holiday expenses
>investing in some stuff for my freelance shit that i do on the side
>>
>>36575963
Maybe you should have moved to a smaller city, where rents are less expensive?
