A year ago I was an oldfrog on r9k asking if I should go back to College at the age of 24.
25 now. A year into community college, and it's really difficult. Graduation seems like a lifetime away.
Did I ever have a chance, robros? Why is life so cruel?
Keep your head up anon. First year is usually hard because you have to learn to balance things. Keep a calendar and plan when to study to prevent yourself from procrastinating
Anyone have any experience as an old man going through cc then uni? What's your life like now?
I just want to escape working two jobs then coming home to immediately sleep and watching my life fly by. Is there hope to this college degree or is it all the same on the other side?

College doesn't guarantee a high paying job. You have to pick majors that pay well. Comp Sci, accounting, engineering. Also if you are looking to be paid more go for an apprenticeship for being a plumber or electrician

But it does get my foot in the door, as they would have me believe. Honestly, right now I can't even find full-time employment.
Also, I guess if I finish college it will "redeem" my past failures, I dropped out of college when I was 18. Classes are harder than I expected them to be, I thought if I just worked harder then things would pan out ... but I try so hard.
I'm one of those fags that sit at the front of the class and go to every lecture but my brain has become hardened cement with time.

you get a job and spend 9/5 working, than doing groceries, and eating dinner. after that you'll play video games or watch tv then go to sleep
repeat.
