Do your vocal cords atrophy if you never talk? I talk probably a few minutes a week most of the time, I barely even voice chat. My voice is very mumbly and I think it might be because of that.

No. You use all the muscles for other stuff too.
>have a moment to prepare my words
>speak loud and confidently
>get caught off guard and need to speak immediately
>weak mumbly voice talking fast, generally incomprehensible so need to repeat self
Why
What I do is read aloud for 15-20 minutes a day. It really helps with my voice and pronunciation

Definitely.
try this
lean your head back as far as it'll go
say
ding dong, bing bong, ping pong
but stay on the nnnngggg sound. Stretch 'em out for like 15 seconds.
Start with your default voice tone,
repeat in a slightly deeper voice
do it a third time as deep as you can
then wait a while, and start talking. You'll see how much deeper it is.
If you want that effect to last,
sing in the car every day.
Yeah, I've found that if I don't talk for a few days (long weekend or something), then I go to class and am a normie, conversation for 4-6 hours my throat burns that evening and next day. But if I keep it up those symptoms go.
