The closest thing I ever read was an article about a home invasion in Japan gone sour. Apparently the woman was able to get the man on the ground and she registered a series of quick bare foot kicks with her heel to the man's temple. It didn't kill him but it gave him permanent brain damage. He was left in a wheel chair unable to speak for the rest of his life. The girl had several years of experience with martial arts and she was an anatomy student which apparently gave her the know-how of where to hit. I saw a video about it on LiveLeak a few years ago. She got her 15 minutes of fame and it was kind of sad to see that she was celebrated for it and the guy who was permanently almost a vegetable wasn't really mentioned.
