i have hated birthdays since I was 14. only shows that you're growing older and older. a day will come when I'll be all on my own. a day will come when it will no longer be socially acceptable for me to notice girls that are around my current age. a day will come when I'll be a boring piece of furniture that the kids don't care about.
I used to do sports and am athletic by nature. one day I will turn into those 60+ year old folks who literally can't walk fast.

I fucking hate growing old.

Whatever. Given modern biosciences I'll probably live until I'm 120 or something. Basically I'll live yo see 100 years from now on. 100 years ago we were barely starting to understand how our body worked. I'd say there's a good chance that I'll live to see the day humans become immortal at least to some degree.

It is harsh it's not so much the physical aspect for me as much as its the social aspect, I don't have friends and i don't like going out so by default the older i get I'll become that creepy guy who's all alone

But that's not enough. Continuous consciousness doesn't mean continuous memories nor does it mean re-uniting with your loved ones at one point.
There's so many people I care about that I don't want to see gone, like my sister.
