It was amazing. And I was referring to The Builders and The Butchers not really being folk punk. I've heard of, but never got around to listening to the Mountain Goats. And shit, that Mischief Brew album is a classic. I'd also recommend his solo stuff (the song Departure Arrival has some great traveling feels), and he also had a sweet side project called Kettle Rebellion
