If you're not funny and don't know how to make witty observations then don't try to be. There's nothing cringier than that one guy who tries to comedian of a group, but nobody laughs at any of his jokes. Even worse if the only jokes they know how to make are references to TV shows or memes.

Girls like men who are funny, but not guys who try to constantly force it.

Jim Norton does a bit about how women professing to find funniness attractive is very misleading, watch some of his shit.

He's one of those guys who does cynicism really well without sinking into unfunny self-pity, it's a fine line.
