>give a whole bunch of Twitch bits to my favorite streamer
>he was really into the game and didn't even notice
Thank God. I was worried he'd call me out and thank me.
I still don't understand the point of bits. Can someone explain them to me? I don't use Twitch much.

It's basically donating but through twitch

Little emotes that cost real money, or you can get them by watching ads. 100 bits costs $1.40. Each bit you use in the chat gives one cent to the streamer. I had saved up a bunch of bits just from watching ads and wanted to get rid of them. I basically gave the guy a $7.25 tip, but it seemed to escape his notice.

I don't even understand the point of twitch. You're paying money to watch people play games?
>>36483193
You can if you want. It's not really required. You get a few perks if you subscribe to somebody and pay five dollars a month, but it's not really worth it just for that. The only reason you'd subscribe to somebody is if you just really like them.

Yeah, but I like Kyle Bosman's comfy Tetris streams, and you get a free subscription with Amazon Prime, which I was paying for anyway. I don't mind clicking a button to give Easy Allies a few bucks every month.
I have one super comfy and when people come in, it shows a Lil walking avatar. I can we how that could freak some people out but it ok cause I have like 30 skins to turn into
>>36483176
how long are the ads and how much do u get?
>>36486808
30 seconds each, but they're interactive, so you have to actually interact with them. You usually get 5 or 10. Sometimes 50 or even 100. It seems kind of random.
>>36486928
o those minigame type of ads.
>>36486961
Some of those. Sometimes it's literally just click one button at the end of a video. You never have to play with them more than 30 seconds.
