I want to move out of Florida. Which state and city do you guys

I'm from south Florida, I moved to north Florida and it's much nicer here. Better people, better job opportunities, and people at least have a sense of community instead of just wanting to screw each other over or worse. I've considered Oregon and North Carolina though, they both seem like nice places.

Minnesota, North Carolina, and east Tennessee are all pretty comfy from past experience

Give Miami a try before you go. I might be a little biased because I was born and raised there, but its a nice place. If you do, I would recommend getting out on the water; see if you can rent a boat, even if its just a kayak. Look up when low tide will be, and head out just an hour or two before that. Launch onto Biscayne bay, paddle out to one of the islands out there. Being able to see the skyline from the shore of a deserted tropical island is probably the thing I miss the most about that city.
