If you're at the more forgiving end of the spectrum (i.e can socialize to an extent, no spasms/epilepsies, no mental retardation), I don't think you have to because at that end of the spectrum, your autism is basically a part of your normal personality.

If you're on the less forgiving side, I'd say only bring it up if the topic is headed to autism-related stuff (especially if they're asking you why you're weird or something).
You don't have to do this, of course. But if it makes you feel better why not.

Later I found out she told a group of girls that they didn't need to be afraid of me because I was seeing therapist and I had aspergers. One of them told me about it but the rest didn't know I knew and made fun of me "subtley".

don't tell anyone. normies have a much better understanding of social cues and body language than we ever will. you can't even begin to understand all of their shit. they probably know it already or at least suspect it. speaking from personal experience, if you play the autism card, people will only go out of their way to make your life harder thanks to something called psychological reactance. they think they're expected or pressured to act a certain way to accommodate your needs, so they will do the exact opposite as a reaction to the perceived, possibly subconscious threat to their freedom to act. if you say nothing, they will think you're 'strong' for trying to pass off as normal and just doing what you can, and they will actually try to acommodate for your quirks.
