Making some small progress on my programming project.
Still can't write worth shit. Haven't tried drawing in a few months.

they have infinite money to throw at you for their most degenerate shit, just be good enough to draw it well and youll live off it easily
>>36454868
Maybe look for a job that involves just sitting in a cubicle all day or something so you can possibly draw a bit during work
Anyone else /golf/ here?
Probably not.

I like photography too, but I don't do it enough to consider it a hobby. My life isn't even that bad, just dull.

Whatever, m8.
Been to 30 countries in the past four years. Lived in one for two, which led me to learn a new language and develop an academic interest which I might submit as a graduate thesis.
guitar i guess. i'm in 3 bands at the moment and honestly just want to quit them all and quit playing all together because i'm completely bored of everything these bands are doing. i barely even practice anymore.

Vidya is not a hobby.

>languages, especially new scripts
I used to snail mail with a friend and we'd include a sentence written in another script for the other to guess.
>>36455030
It's a hobby now. I'd be happy to integrate it into a future job, though.
Going to South America in two weeks, Mexico in June, and southeast Africa in July.
Feels good.

That shit is going to tire you out too much to make anything.
Trust me juggling art making and physical labor is a struggle.

I took Arabic for a year in university. I don't remember too much conversational Arabic, but I can still use the alphabet and write well. Whenever I get bored in class, I'll transliterate my notes into Arabic.
>>36455074
It only started as a joke to mock his handwritting, none of could really write or speak in the languages we used, which at times were dead ones.
>>36455050

I'm in university and work part-time. Traveling doesn't cost a lot of money if you go to developing countries or stay in hostels. I also have several freelance writing contracts which net me between $1,000 and $2,000 per month.
Given that I spend little on electronics and other luxury goods (I still have an Xbox 360 and bought a smartphone outright to avoid being in a contract), I have more income to use as I please.
People with lots of financial and familial obligations probably couldn't do it, but my parents don't need financial help from me, I don't have kids, avoided using lots of credit, etc.

btw anybody else find that once they enter a new, even more shameful sphere of pornography, it instantly becomes the standard to get you off and even if you quit porn for months, that standard is still the same lowest point you've hit? Feelsbadman
