It took me like 10 minutes to write this post. Most of the time I was just looking at the text trying to figure out how to convey my thoughts.

I had that exact problem when I was addicted to amphetamines. Overfocus is a real pain. I'd start to forget how to speak English & spend an upwards of 1 hour trying to type out an unimportant post.

Never did drugs in my life. I think most of the problem is that english is not my first language. Still I have similar problem in my native language. It even happens when I try to talk. The worst thing is when for some reason I use some random word in the sentence which don't belong there like instead of saying

I can say

Happens very rarely tough.

It helps when I talk slowly instead of nervously blurting out words.
