My family has a little oil and a few communications towers that keep a decent amount coming in. It's not even close to 300m but it's more than enough to keep me neet for life once I inherit my share.

I want to cash out and buy a small plot of land, 10 acres or so, a comfy house built into a hillside, and a big metal building. It will be half lab closed off, the other half will be a shared space for my studio and shop. I'll need a fuck load of electricity so I need to make friends with the sheriff. He'll keep the swat team from killing my dogs when they raid the suspected pot farm. I like metal, polymers, machining, microbiology, and small scale indoor farming. The hydroponics will be a small part so they won't be satisfied with the search after finding a 10*10 grow room and nothing illegal. They'd break shit out of spite at that point. Resins and cultures are easy to fuck up so they'd be the most likely targets.

The rest of the money will go into mutual funds and I'll withdraw 0.75%/quarter so it lasts me a lifetime. Typical advice for permanent income is 4% a year, so that gives me plenty of wiggle room to weather even catastrophic market events.
