I work at a fortune 500 railroad company.
There was a bug in some of my work that will shut down 300 miles of railroad.
It will be blamed on me, though I know for a fact that it was a software glitch.
To have made this mistake intentionally would have required nothing short of psychopathy or complete willingness to get fired.
Impossible to do on accident, aside from said software bug.
But they will still think I'm actually stupid enough to have manually deleted around 300 data items because "Anon is an absolute dumb fuck" a much juicier narrative than a software glitch.
Tomorrow, at worst I will be fired with no hope to resign and at best I will be forever branded an idiot with limited promotion prospects.
That's my life right now.
I'm going to go in and just hold a blank expression until either happens.
