I hate it because I can't enjoy it anymore and I'm bitter because of it.

I used to smoke a lot for years, wasn't a DUDE WEED stoner, but I enjoyed it and always had fun with it.
Then after a while, every single time I'd smoke, I'd get panic attacks. Get really introspective, analyze my life and every single thing I've ever done wrong, think about how other people must see and think about me, what a failure and disappointment I must be to my family, just negative thoughts that I can't escape.

Just tried smoking again not even a week ago, same shit happened.
Why did this have to happen? Now I only enjoy booze because it lets me forget and not think about my problems, but I'm definitely fucking up my health.

I've never posted anti weed comments but I consider that a red flag if someone smokes it. In my experience, everyone I've ever been around who smokes never talks about anything other than weed.
Stoners in general are usually pretty sleazy, and that seems to have always been their "thing".
Maybe you're an exemption, I don't know you, but anyone I've encountered who openly admits it has been such a stereotype.

I've never met anyone IRL who says they smoke weed now and again. Either people don't smoke or they smoke 24/7. And it's never to "take the edge off" or to relax, those who smoke weed will smoke from morning and keep doing it until it's time to sleep. I know of several who've chosen to have weed their last week before payday instead of food. If people did the same thing with alcohol they'd be alcoholics, which is a serious problem.

Oh, and I don't know anyone who's an alcoholic and not over the age of 60. Drinking is way down. Unfortunately, weed is on the way up.

I used to love the stuff and smoked it pretty much daily.

Eventually it wasn't enjoyable anymore, what I got from it in the beginning was laughter, munchies, interesting thoughts, great music, fun times etc but over time and slowly it just turned into the same old shit. Wake up, smoke... then I couldn't focus as well for the rest of the day, was bored, anti-social (if friends invited me out while I was baked I would be like "naah to tired") and mainly just in a stupid haze.

What was once really fun turned into something really stupid. It's weird as well because you still get some good effects, like good music, munchies etc but it's not worth it.

One day I just kinda realised what's the point in smoking this shit when it just wastes my time and makes me zone out and act retarded all day, it was not the drug it was at the start.

Literally one day I analysed it

But DUDEWEED culture is ridiculous, and embraced by the worst sort of insufferable people. Its perfectly possible to use marijuana and not be a total stoner shit bag, its just very rare. Instead, a prevailing attitude towards it is by kiddies glorifying it and not realizing it as a potent psychoactive drug that shouldn't be taken lightly.
I acknowledge the benefits it has for some individuals, but for 80% of users its another form of escapism that doesn't allow one to experience life, instead covering up emotions with a blanket of euphoria.
I pity anyone who uses it daily, as its best utilized as a weekly or monthly excursion to destress and gain a different perspective on your life.
I urge anyone who consumes cannabis to try a tolerance break for 1 to 2 weeks, uncomfortable as it may be; wait for the fog to lift and evaluate whether you want to continue consuming this drug
