I play a lot of Stellaris multiplayer, and everywhere you go some faggot will try to promote his shitty 15 man discord channel because he gets hard from admin powers.

I don't get the appeal of Discord. All I see is that it's a circlejerk where mods flaunt their giant e-peens and everyone indulges in normie memes to try and seem hip and cool. Every fucking server or group I join in a game requires Discord, and I see no benefit for it.
