As much as I enjoyed that game, I really couldn't get over how god awful the dialogue was.

Every young character spoke with this autistic mix of old memes and even older myspace slang, even though it was supposedly set in 2016

It's what I imagine a board of middle aged directors at square enix would come up with when asked "what do the kids these days sound like?"
