Second thing. I liked it when everyone was cool with it, but began to hate how everyone was cool with me because of it. I would rather have order and morals and a definitive right and wrong in a conservative society, even if the order can at times feel restricting. A little order is a small tradeoff for the endless chaos and degeneration that spirals out of control when there is no order.

I wouldn't say that women are "put in their place" but they are confined to more traditional gender roles. This is fine as most women do not want to do mens work anyway and prefer jobs that include provide emotional or physical care for others. There is an expectation today for women to be strong and successful, but men don't care that much for strong and successful women and a lot of women feel guilty if they just want to settle down and have children. I don't think that we should stop women from going into higher education or anything like that, but we need to de-emphasize the importance of education across the board, allowing women to have children without shame and men to go into trade.
