Most my friends I know who love travel fit into this category, but I do know a few people who legitimately worked really hard and made a lot of sacrifices to travel.

My best friend from high school took a year off to work two separate shitty minimum wage jobs just so she could travel and leave the country for the first time before uni. If you're actively choosing to devote your time and resources to travel then I respect that.

I used to think traveling was cool then I realized I don't give a shit about history, people or nice buildings so basically travel means nothing to me anymore other than escaping out of my third world shitty country.

I'd like to see the Pyramids, though.

I've never left my little country, but I'd love to go travelling one day (when I have enough money) so I can explore rainforests, coral reefs, boreal zone, etc to see beautiful wild animals like tropical birds and fish, bears, etc

it seems like it's easier to travel in europe because everything is close. africa and asia aren't that far away.
if you live in north america, you need to get on a plane and speand at least $2000 on a ticket to experience anything even remotely exotic.

You don't have to have tons of money to travel, provided you've managed to avoid accruing unnecessary debt and other financial or familial obligations.

I'm 23 and have to been to about 30 countries since 2013. I also lived in South Asia by myself for about a year and a half. My travels were exclusively self-financed, first while working as a delivery driver and then as dispatch and operations management for a logistics company.

Really helped me build my self-confidence (I was an autismo nerd who couldn't talk to girls before). Also learned an ass-ton about world history and got a better grip on what career I want to do.

Only downside is that I'm graduating late, but I'll still have my BSc in three semesters.

Can I be honest? I love travel, but actually the people who annoy me are the one who go on and on about the museums, the architecture, the culture, the churches , the culturally enriching shit. I get it, that's what your supposed to care about. When I travel somewhere , I want to know where is a good place to get a beer, what are my chances of getting laid, and where can I get drugs
