>After his morning walk and breakfast, Darwin was in his study by 8 and worked a steady hour and a half. At 9:30 he would read the morning mail and write letters. At 10:30, Darwin returned to more serious work, sometimes moving to his aviary, greenhouse, or one of several buildings where he conducted his experiments. By noon, he would declare, "I've done a good and set out on a long walk on the Sandwalk, a path he laid out not long after buying Down House. (Part of the Sandwalk ran through land leased to Darwin by the Lubbock family.) When he returned after an hour or more, Darwin had a lunch and answered more letters. At 3 he would retire for a nap; an hour later he would arise, take another walk around the Sandwalk, then return to his study at 5:30, when he would join his wife, Emma, and their family for dinner. On this shedule he wrote 19 books, including technical volumes on climbing plants, barnacles, and other subjects; the more controversial Descent of Man; and The Origin of Species, probably the single most famous book in the history of science, and a book that still affects the way we think about nature and ourselves.
Looks like someone was living the NEET life.

NEET =/= self employed
>>36284244
How in the fuck is this in any way comparable to wanking 4 times a day and aimlessly browsing the internet for 10+ hours a day, not even reading anything just staring at the screen switching between tabs and pressing f5 every now and then

Thisis an excellent glimpse of what life is like at the pinnacle of humanity. Some of us are destined to experience it every day, while others are not so fortunate and have to resort to only reading about such experiences.
Looks like someone doesn't know what a NEET is.

Except he actually worked, and much of the rest of the time was spent on activities that are conducive to so-called mind wandering which allows the subconscious mind to work in its own way. You do no actual work, and the time wasters you engage in-- video games, anime, and so forth-- all pump constant distractions into your brain that shorten your attention span and have the exact opposite effect of his activities.
>>36284809
wrong again, wagecuck
>>36284244
He was independently wealthy. You're a parasite.
I've always liked Darwin, a neet in the truest sense. What's funny is wagecucks are so delusional they still think they're better than him because serving a 2/$1 hamburger provides a more valuable service in their eyes.
Darwin owned a house and had a lease on several pieces of property.
You either live with your parents or in government subsidized housing.
Wagecucks getting btfo year after year
How is this possible

Being a writer is not being self employed by definition writers are not employed they get published
