It comes from people not having decent parents. They want to be comforted when they make mistakes, but pushed to succeed when they stagnate. Poor parenting results in children that search for these things in other places out of desperation. Half of these people end up killing themselves because they don't understand how to handle life, and the other half end up as poor parents that just continue the cycle. Life is true suffering
