>be me
>built my own quadcopter and fucking love flying it when I get the chance
>Always looking forward to flying it
>go somewhere like a park to fly it
>get a lot of attention from people looking at me
>leave as fast as I can
everytime :(
Anyone else find their hobby is ruined by them being a robot?
That looks rad
Fuck you quadcopter people, you are a bunch of creeps.

My unicycle. I use it for commuting and riding for fun. Last summer i would ride it mostly at night, but when uni started I noticed people looking at me and some people even initiated conversation. What the hell am I supposed to say? I just do it because it's fun and practical (goes as hand luggage on public transport, no extra ticket needed like with a normal bike). Sometimes I fall off because I've been at the gym and doing cardio, and thus got tired legs. People ask me if I'm OK but I'm used to it. Sometimes disembarking a unicycle just involves rolling around on the ground once or twice.
Pic related is my unicycle.

What kind of batteries does it use?
I been thinking of trying to build one of those.

LiPo, Litium polymer batteries. Watch Rotor riot on youtube and if you want a cheap budget quad watch UAVFututure's $99 quad build aswell.

Not OP, but they use lipos. I use 1300 mAh 60 C 4S on a 220 mm diagonal quad - about $20 each
