Nietzche said look at who you envy. That is the person you should aim to be.
It seems like we envy Chad rather than hate him, so should we try becoming him?
Part of me wants to but I feel like there are more fulfilling lives to be lived (highly respected professionals), yet I don't envy those at all.

The question is, who does Chad envy?

It's easier than that. Behavior can be learned.

I've already reached this conclusion. It's just easier to be happy when you have objective measures of success to point to and emulate. I don't envy wage slaves. I couldn't imagine spending 40 hours a week every week doing the same shit over and over and over again. I do envy professional fighters though because they're basically professional NEETs and they are rewarded for admirable attributes like courage and discipline and perserverance instead of dishonorable qualities like deceitfulness and a lack of empathy which benefit people like Donald Trump who play the capitalism game. In the end we're all just working to satisfy our inner narcissism so I want to do it in a way that's honest and allows me greater control over the outcomes.

What if the job was interesting? Like in a field that you enjoy reading about. I love reading history so I wouldn't mind getting paid to do something related to it 40 hours a week.
The only jobs that are shit are the ones that don't give you a sense of achievement or fulfilment other than a paycheck.

I'm far too lazy for any job that actually gives you that fulfillment. Technology has made it so most jobs are much less fulfilling than they used to be. We're becoming less important to the functioning of the world so competition over jobs that actually contribute something is increasing. Once I deal with my laziness and weakness I'll be ready to try and achieve something meaningful.
