Usually happens mostly when I'm tired but it is fucking irritating when I get "delayed hearing" or whatever the fuck the actual name is

I've worked in loud factories for years now and I have very bad hearing. When my supervisor tries to tell me stuff I can never hear him. Everyone thinks I'm retarded because I never talk and I'm always asking them to repeat themselves.
