reddit has complete cancer posts because of the upvote system. you don't see people posting "I LITRALLY SPAT MY MILK OUT AT THIS" or other meaningless reaction to posts on 4chan. At the same reddit is a little easier to find the things I really like. I use reddit for the things that 4chan doesn't talk about frequently and I'm not going to get the fuck out because you want to gatekeep

What you don't realize is that Reddit users have slowly been blending into here for the past four or five years. This isn't some super scary place that dangerous degenerates come to post horrible horrible things. It's just an anonymous imageboard. And the anonymity of this place and the simplicity of 4chan is appealing to people. So they've slowly came into this place and sorta assimilated. With this steady flow of new users, 4chan has become increasingly popular due to it's reputation as edgey-central and it's media spotlight. 4chan is filled to the brim with normalfags and redditors and you don't even know it.
