I used to enjoy watching movies and playing games but I graduated high school 2 years early so I got on the NEET train early, after 4 years of doing only that all day every day I dont even find enjoyment in them so I dont even try. I spend way to much time on 4 chan or just staring at my desktop hoping something interesting will happen. Ive had my fair share of excitement I like to think but none of it is something I could do regularly do to safety or lifestyle problems

I used to enjoy stuff, then highschool ended. I miss doing hw for like 6 hours a day and spending all my free time either doing hw, reading, listening to music, or watching shows inbetween hw.

This is what happens when you don't have any meaningful human interaction. I know because I've had times of extended meaningful human interaction and times of extended loneliness.
The worst part is that it only gets harder to find decent people the longer you go without being around others.

I dislike being around people, though. It's exhausting. I'm literally more depressed the day after I hang out with friends.

I can't remember the last time I enjoyed anything, or looked forward to something.
Everything I remember enjoying just feels like a chore now.
I try new things, but it always feels forced.
I'm always just trying something to see if I enjoy it, it's not like it's something that caught my interest.
I'm running out of things to try.

There isn't anything positive in life to balance out the negative.

I'm an introvert too, but I still enjoy the company of friends every once in a while. Usually I enjoy my alone time much more after I've spent time having fun with other people.

I'm unfulfilled because I lack the self control to make myself do the necessary things that will bring me happiness. It's not that I'm not smart enough to know what to do, I'm just too weak to actually make myself do it.

Yeah. The meaningful conversations is a maybe, but I do have long meaningful conversations with one friend over text, which doesn't exhaust me at all. Then again, I'm also a people pleaser and I'm always trying to make the people around me happy. Usually by making jokes and being not serious. I live with my parents and socialize with them every day, does that count as being around people? Also, is 4chan socializing?

Everything is an arduous bore that I'm terrible at but takes buckets of my time

Well the fact that even you could see they didn't want you there should have been an alarming sign, they just gave you a chance to change your ways but you took that as an insult so it's a win win for both parties that you left the group

I can usually tell on the first meeting if the person is someone i will get along with well or not, if they are not i keep our relationship casual (friend of a friend) type of way
I only have 4 people i consider real friends, rest are just people i nod to if i see them IRL or will chit chat to if i meet the when hanging out with friends, i keep no contact to FoaF's apart from that

Real friends are made throughout the years when you share interests or friend group long enough and have some ups and downs in the relationship without breaking it

Just bee yourself and you'll eventually meet either as desperate person as you (enemy of my enemy) kind of way or (bitter bitches stick together) way

It's unlikely you will meet nice friends because you yourself seem to be a bit of an asshole, being an asshole only works on women and even then only if you're really rich or really hot

So in conclusion it was nice of you to finally leave them alone, hopefully you'll meet people that are like you through hobbies so you can form some kind of social connection so you don't shoot up places
