First one "Hollow Pursuits". They don't try to remove him in the show, but it's implied if he didn't save them from the weird chemical melting their warp core.

The second episode is the Nth degree, where he gets zapped by an alien probe and becomes so smart he integrates himself into the computer and divides spacetime by zero.

The final episode he appears in is the best.
The opening scene features him in sickbay freaking out at Dr. Crusher after he looked up his symptoms on Starfleet WebMD and is convinced he's dying.
Turns out he just has a minor alien flu that most humans aren't susceptible to, and when he learns that he complains about having bad genes.
