>Exploring the world and seeing people through google maps, periscope and insecam
Does anyone else do this?
>tfw my computer is too slow for me to do that
seems comfy
Yes. I don't care about the people but I do use streetview extensive to play armchair tourist.
I hate flying and travel in general. When I have done so a couple of times in the past I was miserable. All that expense and effort and jet lag just to show up at the thing, see the thing, take a picture of the thing that already has millions of pictures of it already. See the streets. Marvel at the slightly different layout of hotel room from the usual back home. Not worth it. And fuck flying. If i never set foot on a plane again it will be too soon.
Yes.

>Will never have a fully functional city simulator in VR using data gathered by google maps, satellites and drones.

There is a program for oculus that uses streetview. It's the same assets as the browser version but at least that idea has been thought up and put together in a preliminary way.
So now that there's no point in tourism anymore, what can one do? Where should one live?
