This much plebbery, fuck me. For someone concerned about wasting money you sure love overpriced hardware.

I care. I'm trying to make something of my life and I don't have all the time in the world for luxuries.

I don't use a PC. I'm no fagmeister.
>want to play more video games and have the money to waste on them
>can only find an hour or so each day to play them
>want to get into video games
>realized all the new ones are pretty shit
>my library has games I've played to death, or were shit so I don't want to play them
Video games just bore me too much to bother with. A few minutes into any game I start saying to myself "I've already played this game, know the story inside and out, know all the spawns and what to do, etc" then I drop it
It honestly dumbfounds me when I think back to when I was a teenager and would be able to play 16 hours of the same game every day for days on end

Not really. This year alone, Gravity Rush 2, RE7, Yakuza 0. HZD, Nier and BotW have all been incredibly solid games. BotW is arguably the best Zelda game yet and Yakuza 0 is by far my favorite Yakuza yet. I've invested most of my time into Yakuza and BotW because of how solid these entries are.

I'm not a weeb or a nintenyearold though

If I were listing weeb games, I'd be listing games like Persona 5 and Digimon World. The closest to weeb games listed were probably Gravity Rush 2 and Yakuza 0, and neither are really that weeby. GR2 is very much like western sandbox games in the vein of The Incredible Hulk and Infamous, and Yakuza 0 has a Vice City meets River City Ransom feel to it.
I can't argue with the nintenyearold comment though, since my two GotY contenders so far are games by Nintendo and Sega. Sucks to hear that you have a preconceived notion that Sega and Nintendo make games for kids, because, in all likelihood, a 10 year old would get destroyed in BotW and would likely be overwhelmed by the scope of the game, and everything that occurs in Yakuza 0, from the humorous side missions to the serious story, would go over the head of a 10 year old. Nintendo and Sega are still the best developers.
