- 4chan is actually a lot deader than you'd think
- Most active board is actually /pol/ due to being a containment board for people banned from Twitter/Reddit
- /b/ is dead due to Tumblr, Twitter, Discord providing much the same functionality, while Reddit does hobbyist discussion better
- Upshot: there are actually a lot fewer people here than you might think
- Anime resonates with autists, being a tranny is autism-adjacent

Everyone on /v/ says that the dark souls 2 dlc is the best part but I think they're crazy. Sir Alonne was great but everytime I remember the dlc I just remember the fucking frozen field of bullshit with the kings pets.

I like dark souls 2 more now than I originally did, but at launch I was absolutely crushed at how much of a downgrade it was from the first game. I almost stopped at ruin sentinels because the whole game was so disappointing up to that point, but I forced myself to go on and it never got better. Wasn't till my third playthrough or so where I started to actually like the game a little, especially with pvp, but still how'd they fuck it up so much.

Dark souls 3 is a lot better but it still feels exhausting to play, I can't play through one session for very long, whereas I fired up demon's souls right after beating ringed city and I beat the game in one session and it was fun the whole time.

The biggest problem I have with dark souls 3 is doing subsequent playthroughs, I can't stand going through high wall of lothric and undead settlement on every character. I wish it was more like demon's and dark souls where you could mix it up. In bloodborne at least you can start doing chalice dungeons early if you want to mix up the progression or do things like arcane builds.
