Hey, anon. I've been having a rough time, too. It helps to find someone to be close to.

In that schedule you're setting up yourself for normiedom, instead of going to the gym do something you actually enjoy. Just think about it for a second, if you're doing gym to get a gf you'll most likely attract roasties, if you go and join a D&D group or some shit you'll be less likely to find a girl but if you do find one it'll be much better (you'll have something to talk about and you won't have to hide that much things). If you're doing gym just for health reasons better just do jogging for less time consumption, and/or do gym on the weekend.

Same thing, only thing I do in my little free time is browse this shithole. My bills absorb 90% of my pay, not considering the debt I'll have to pay off. And I doubt I'll even get a job once I graduate. I'd rather be a NEET on welfare.

Funny this is the exact same thing I concluded two months ago. If you get ripped and get a gf, she will probably be shallow but if you build hobbies instead you will get one who loves you yourself. So now I only do calisthenics. But I would never get a gf either way lol kill me.

Life is inherently meaningless. If you're inclined to seek out more than the humdrum and routine, then there are ways to do that. However, really beginning to enjoy life requires that you shift your mindset, which isn't easy to do.

I put a lot of the money I save at works towards traveling abroad, which means I almost always have a few trips to look forward to. For instance, in a month, I'll be going to Ecuador for two weeks. I'm excited for winter as well, since I'll be wrapping up the last three semesters I have on my BSc.

The future seems exciting, but I also struggle to live in the present.

I guess I don't know what to tell you. I feel like once I get into a decent Masters or PhD program, then I'll have the world at my fingertips. But one of my friends who is in medical school told me, "I felt like once I got in, everything was going to be easier because I at least knew I had a future ahead. Now I'm not sure if the stress is ever going to go away - not now, not in residency, or maybe even when I'm practicing."

I at least tell myself I'm not going to work a 9-5 job. That's the best I can guarantee myself.
