My friends and I bought over that time span, at the very least, 3 ounces of weed and consumed it all. Anyways, during this time i remember my memory being worse than usual, my spelling (which I was always good at) saw a marked decrease in ability, and I always felt like in a sort of hazy, foggy mindset. My friends who don't smoke used to make fun of my for becoming retarded.

Marijuana apologists are an annoying bunch. Pot isn't some miracle drug that fixes everything. It simply masks the problem by making you stupid and relieved pain.

you really don't get it do you? why do you think why some assholes smoke weed and notice an impairment which clears up after a while? because your brain is a highly sophisticated piece of work which is quite capable at fixing itself if you're not outright killing neurons, which is pretty hard to do

most of these impairments happen because of neurotransmitters and receptor tolerance, not because some plant 'kills brain-cells', which is not a thing if you don't do something outrageously stupid or use some substance every fucking day (you have to cause massive oxygen radical damage or excitotoxity, both of which the brain can handle in low quantities perfectly well, because it can occur every day)

this means that the brain has to restore balance, production and normal-dial receptor tolerance, which takes weeks, months, or in extreme cases years

this is where the impairment comes from, which is why 'everything in moderation' is 100% true, turn off scared straight
