In my experrience, they take between 1.5 -2 hours.
A friend of mine made muffins, and he gave me 6. I ate 1. About 45 minutes goes by, I feel nothing, so I ate another. about an hour later, I was annoyed at how they dont fucking work, and suddenly, my entire body went numb, and 4 or 5 hours go by of me just staring at the ceiling, thinking about how I would have changed my life if I could go back in time to 2nd grade.
