I asked out a girl I work with a few weeks ago. She said no but we have to stay friends so work isnt weird.
We've been trying to keep it normal but recently we both started just avoiding eachother out of mutual cringe.
Do you guys think I should try to talk to her about it; just lay everything on the table? Would that help?

No don't lay everything out on the table. Just play it cool dude. Smile when you see her. Say "Hello, Hows it going?" when you walk by. You don't actually stop and listen, you just listen for a "I'm doing good, and you?" then reply good as you are a few feet away and continue walking.
it's only awkward if you make it awkward. If she doesn't smile back or reply to your hello then she is being weird, not you.
But what she doesn't want is to talk about everything with you

Did she say why she said no?

>expecting any level of honesty from a girl
lol, almost rattled me
>>36083159
it doesn't matter. Its over for OP

True but it helps a little.
If she says I'm busy its cause she doesn't like you. If she says she doesn't like you, then she REALLY doesn't like you

>its cause she doesn't like you
well.. duh?
of course she wouldnt have rejected someone she liked...
the question is what made her not like him

She likes me. Its just that I accidentally asked her out when she had a bf. Her bf and I have a bit of beef with eachother, so maybe he influenced her or something.
I just really want to know how to make the situation less awkward. We tried joking around and being friends again for a week but it didnt work.
