I actually would like to carry a weapon daily and shoot a mosin every now and then in the fields.

It depends on the state. In my state you can just walk in and but one as long as you're 18 or older.(Indiana)

Canadian. I would never kill myself with a firearm. Our rights in this country are already in a precarious position. I wouldn't want to become a statistic used to strip more of them away.

Don't know if you guys know this but here, they FORCE you to join the army for like 9 months. I assume they give and teach you how to use a gun.

I didn't go because of severe mental illness but if I ever go back, finish school and start working, they'll force me to go. And I will get a gun. God help me and all others near me.

I'm on my way to recovery so this might actually happen. Let's just hope I don't break down when in the army.
