protip: nobody cares what anyone elses political opinions are in those discussions, they just want to pontificate about their own views and will ignore any potentially good points you make anyway. even if someone listens to you, they will never admit when you are right and they are wrong and will instead insult you instead of conceding the point. everyone has already drawn their line in the sand, you will never change anyone's mind ever. rendering political discussions online, and even offline completely pointless.
