It seems like something fictional. It's just a huge part of life and society that we've never experienced and it makes no sense.

People tell me that sex isn't a big deal, but I guess things like breathing and eating aren't really big deals either until you're deprived of them. We may not have a need for sex, but we all have a strong desire for intimacy and to be loved and we just can't seem to do it for some reason.
