I rejected a guy who I'd been friends with for two years. We were really close and he'd cry about all his crushes to me. Over these two years he fell for pretty much every girl he knew, then finally it was my turn. He wrote me an essay over facebook about how special I was to him and how he was growing more fond of me. I wasn't interested at all, this guy was kinda pathetic and not attractive to me, although we had similar interests and worked as friends. I felt bad at the time but who would take someone seriously when they're the 10th crush that year? And yes he did phase me out after this and we don't talk anymore.

When I was 21 had a neighbour girl post a note through my door asking me to go for a coffee. I ignored it and I assume she felt rejected.

Then at 26 a girl at my work that was like a work friend asked if I was single via text. I ignored it and we haven't spoken since aside for a few terse conversations.

Yeah, but it was second grade. But the dude was so intrusive and weird and he would just say the most disgusting things to me. Plus I think I did a favor seeing as what I grew into.
Maybe my karma for that was me going for any guy who was nice to me in the fucking slightest through 5-7th grade and didn't seem too out of my league. Then after months of secretly obsessing over them and nutting up enough to ask them out they'd reject me in a really cruel way and tell everyone about it and then they'd all laugh about how pathetic about it. I should've learned after the first time but I was so stupid that it happened at least 5 other times. It wasn't until freshman year until I learned my place as "The ugly girl".

Only once. The first time a guy showed any interest in me.

Happened last year, in my first year of college. He came on as a friend and would follow me around the school. Some times I would go to the bathroom and I'd find him waiting outside. He'd pretend that he was just walking by. I thought it was really cute at first, but the constant texting and calling and the fact that he never left my dorm made me uncomfortable. I'd ask him to leave after several hours and he would literally ignore me unless I pushed him out the door. According to my roommate, he would come by and ask her where i was 1-2 times a day. I didn't like not having any personal space. He made me feel guilty when I wanted to be alone. I don't have many friends so I'm never picky in choosing them, so I never told him off. We got along really well half the time anyway.

He was a really good friend until he started getting really touchy. I'd never let him pay for me or anything so he wouldn't get the wrong idea that we were dating. But he would start touching my thigh or graze my boobs/butt or hug me for way too long and I had to pull his arms away.

He wrote me a poem for Valentines day and asked me out and I said no. I could literally see the moment his heart tore apart. We haven't talked since, he was posting really depressing shit on our college's group chat.

I feel bad, I liked him and maybe it could've been something, but he came on way too strong. I was scared for my personal safety at times.
