Anybody under the age of 20 fucking sucks and is awful to deal with for anybody over as a general kind of rule. Screentime is 'off' button for parents. Think, does the idea of watching a child every waking hour sound appealing to you? What the fuck else do you do with them?

I blame modern times. Nothing to do outside, no incentive to do anything good inside, too much garbage being actively forced in our faces.

At a certain point you're mature enough to make your own choices about life. Bad parenting may be an excuse for you wasting your early teenage years, but certainly nothing beyond that.

Honestly, I feel like it was better alternative to what I could've ended up being. Having a pc was a godsend since I was living in a shitty run down town. Could've ended up as a daddy to some meth-addicted bitch at the age of 18 like half my friends are.
