Who here hates it when people hold doors for them? I have arms, I can open a door myself.
if i knew who you were irl now i would hold doors shut against you let's see how big and strong your noodle arms are

>implying I wouldn't use another door

i would run to every door for more of the same treatment
there would be no getting inside for you when i'm around

It's just common courtesy, you spastic

You are not alone anon. I walk at my normal pace because I don't have to walk faster for anyone. If they don't like waiting then that is too bad, they are going to have to find another way to feed their ego. If they genuinely don't mind me taking my time then I guess that is okay, but it still kind of bothers me, as if I am expected to get there fast enough.

It's called a gesture of kindness, you're not expected to move faster simply because they're holding the door open for you. It's an acknowledgement of your dignity as a human being. Try being grateful instead and thanking them for holding the door open for you.
Why do I need to explain this?
