Germans don't call Germany, "Germany". They call it Deutschland.

Turkish people don't call their country "Turkey", it's Turkiye.

Why do we have two different spellings for countries? Shouldn't it just be said and written how it is originally in its native tongue? That may even promote more language diversity, why do the West always make up its own words for other places, places that already have names.
