Who are these "men" that lied? Also, too much makeup is always bad but makeup applied properly can only improve. That's all I want to say about makeup because I'm not a woman.

Do you mean more followers on social media? Full face makeup looks a lot better in pictures than in real life. Most guys I've talked to prefer no makeup at all, or just subtle makeup that they can't tell the difference either way. I believe most girls wear makeup to feel better about themselves or to feel comfortable around other girls, not to get boys.

Liking makeup can be a cultural thing to a large extent, the problem with "people look for youth in women" is that some men do and others don't, you can't just generalise what men find attractive because it varies massively, one man's 9/10 might be anothers 3/10. Most western women these days just wear makeup anyway regardless.

It's simple really. The girl in that pic has quite a bit of makeup on, however it is "natural looking" makeup, no crazy colors, no overexaggeration of features etc. This is what differentiates from women that look like clowns, even though they might have the same amount of makeup on.
