You just need to grind fruits you find on the ground, which all raise your stats, til you're 100 in everything, then go on a massacre. You could do it in an hour.

meh, I keep running into bad ends, and because I refused to save the game I would have to start all over again, I took massive breaks between playing the game as well.

I mean, beating Lethicite's castle took me about 10 attempts because of all the shit that came up in the last few fights.
