Does anyone else want to escape the Windows botnet but is too stupid to switch to GNU/Linux? Constantly scouring forums for fixes, copy and pasting config files, etc really annoys me. Not to mention setting up a way to watch anime is necessarily difficult. Any robots share my sentiment? I wish I could switch to it full time but I'm just too lazy to deal with all the annoyances.
>Windows botnet
you're a fool to believe that you're safe on linux. anything you do on any computer can be monitored.

>is too stupid to switch to GNU/Linux
not too stupid, too lazy
Linux has been dumbed down so much that even idiots like you can easily download and use it now
use any user friendly distro
try OpenSUSE or Ubuntu or Mint or elementary
Linux is a native environment for most serious (ie, hobbyist + educated + experienced) programmers.
Normies using linux are an automatic red flag.
Learn how to cyborg in Android, imo
The more precautions you take, the more interesting you become
The only "real" mostly failproof safeguard you can take is moving to a third world country that seriously doesn't give a shit or where you can just bribe g-men to fuck off (eg Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, etc).
BSD or MacOS
Just use Mint, Ubuntu or a meme like Solus.
Alternatively just install MacOS.

Iktf. I've tried to switch plenty of times, but always end coming back to windows.
