It sucks, doesnt it. Something just changes and you lose the magic. It's like an addiction. You think youll get a good hit but it's just unsatisfying. Better off just kicking it if youre not enjoying it. Need a new hobby.

keep buying new during sales

Hardly a hobby now, it just suck to see all these games that I won't touch anymore. And I don't want to sell them too because they worth nothing
I feel the same and I wonder if this is how it's supposed to be? Maybe men over 20 ate not supposed to enjoy games?

What happens when everything runs out of "magic" and you can't find a hobby that sparks interest?

I don't know, maybe I lost interest because I don't have enough time or money to keep up with all the new stuff. I still buy ps2 games or xbox 360 at best
It's pretty much the same for movies and tv shows, I still watch some of them, but there was time when I watched like maybe 30 new movies a month, now it must be 5 at best.

Hell, the most recent game I bought was Alien Isolation (had a blast playing it, btw)

Doing something for an audience of thousands of people especially if its your job is different. He cant claim that its a waste of time but we can.

My example must've been bad, I meant that it's not rare to see 40 year old playing vidya (with or without youtube channels)
