Depression in Males: Tendency to lose weight
Depression in Females: Tendency to gain weight
Why do you think this is?
My guess is that women are more prone to being emotional eaters, paired with the fact that men lose weight easier anyhow.

Why are people "emotional eaters"?

they eat for psychological comfort

>Depression in Males: Tendency to lose weight
bullshit
give sauce on that assumption OP

people (mean and women) tend to just have "weight fluctuations" because people can lose their appetite frequently when depressed, or binge-eat comfort foods
I think women refrain from eating more often than men, so when they're vulnerable they compensate that by giving in

My weight fluctuates. I go from undereating for months to overeating for months. It's shitty, but i guess it doesn't matter
I gained weight when I went through deep depression, imma man
Women generally become more needy and crave comfort.
Men become disassociated and give up on everything.
Eating for even a drop of dopamine vs. "Why bother?"
