Does anybody know how long you typically wait between getting sworn in at MEPS and shipping off to basic?

I got sworn into the air force the other day. I asked them when I go to basic. They said they don't know and my recruiter will let me know when it's time.

95% of the Air Force is chill I joined the right branch and a hell of a job, in 13 years I was gone over 9 on combat deployments with the Army and Marines it was fun though just demanding, anyhow lots of the other branches sit on their ass too anon they just joined a easy job no hate

Thats pretty good, don't join open general if you do 99% chance you will be Security Forces (MP) they hate their jobs mostly but party hard, IMO medical to be honost. There is always, always a job market when you get out, they work 7 to 430 PT a hour 3 times a week at 630 or 730? You have time to do college while you are in. You can actually take leave as medical, base exercise isneasy as medical you also get holidays and down days off. Oh ya there are mostly females in those jobs too win win!

Military is pretty easy too anon, just follow directions/order even when its dumb sometimes, don't get caught underage drinking/dui work out everyday its easy dont get kicked out for PT do 50 situps 1min 50 pushups 1 min run mile half 10min and below 34 inch waste g2g, this is for AF though

Guess what, you'll probably go to some base in the middle of butt fuck nowhere and sit in front of a computer all day. Unless you do something like pararescue you will never see combat and will never be in any danger. The name "chair force" didn't come out of thin air
